Fun times with Dad in Wine Country

I don't have much to report on this entrey, but we are enjoying our time with my dad. He has been traveling around the South Island for the last 1.5 week, so we have been alone in Wellington, but busy with work and our weekend social life!!
These photos are from when we went up to Napier for a long weekend and did tours of the wineries, ate some great meals and had a few picnics.

Day 1 at the 7's

This past weekend Wellington held 1 of the International 7's tournaments. It was so fun, there were about 35, 000 people in the stadium, I guess not like the numbers of fans compared to back home. On Friday night we all dressed up as Canadians or our home countries. We had great seats, right in the middle and in the warm sun until it went down. The games started at 1-10 pm. How the games work are as follows: 7 on 7 for 7 minutes halves, fast rugby eh!! Lots of running and action. Canada's team did really well beating Australia, so I can tell you The Kiwis were happy about that. We partied a lot and yes so did my dad! We did not want to party too much as we had to head back out the next morning with our costumes. Watch this space for more details and photos.

Welcome to New Zealand...Again dad!!

Yesterday I picked up my dad from the Airport, it was so great to see him and give him a great big hug. Dad spent a couple days getting here- Vancouver, LA, then sometime in Syndney. Thanks to Brandon for going shopping for me and getting all of my goodies...Bring on the peanut butter and seafood sauce.
We have not been doing much over the past day, dad knows his way around the city very well now and he aid it feels like he was just here, and yes that is the way Scott and I feel too. He has been bbq-ing for us, and tomorrow is the rugby 7's international even, so we are all going. I will post some pictures after the weekend of this huge event.
